[NRV News] NRV Empowers the Future of Next-Generation AI through Neuromorphic Engineering Innovations
NRV strongly believes in the infinite potential of Neuromorphic Engineering, a next-generation AI technology that mimics the human brain. To pioneer technological advancements and vitalize the global research ecosystem, we are actively supporting diverse research and talent cultivation initiatives across both domestic and international landscapes.
Sponsoring the AI Semiconductor Circuit Design Contest (from July to November 2026)
The completion of neuromorphic engineering begins at the fingertips of exceptional hardware design talents. NRV proudly roots for the next-generation engineers who will lead the future of the semiconductor industry. Official sponsorship of the ‘Semiconductor Circuit Design Contest’, a premier competition for outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in South Korea. By providing a platform where prospective engineers with creative and innovative ideas can fully demonstrate their capabilities, NRV is contributing to strengthening national competitiveness in system semiconductors and neuromorphic chip design.
Supporting Neuromorphic Engineering Research through ‘The Capo Caccia Neuromorphic Intelligence Workshop’ (April 2026)
NRV actively has long term relationship with researchers at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, a premier global hub for neuromorphic research. This was extended during the ‘The Capo Caccia Neuromorphic Intelligence Workshop’, the most prestigious international workshop in this field. At the Capo Caccia 2026 workshop, NRV provided and supported high-performance neuromorphic cameras and software to facilitate the neuromorphs their pioneering studies in neuromorphic vision and brain-inspired engineering. By having world-class global researchers utilize NRV’s proprietary hardware for their cutting-edge research, we have established a solid foundation to further strengthen our global R&D network.
Talking about industrial experience at ‘Event-driven Vision School 2026’ (May 2026)
NRV is leading the academic advancement and technological trends in the field of global Event-based Vision. Hyunsurk Ryu (Ph.D., CEO of NRV) was invited as a keynote speaker at the world-renowned academic event, ‘Event-driven Vision School,’ held in Genova, Italy. Addressing worldwide graduate students and industry professionals specializing in event-based vision applications, Dr. Ryu delivered a speech sharing his deep research experience and expertise in event-based image sensing technology.
